Pick Your Own - Spray Free - Blue Berries

At Blue Acres there are 2.4 hectares (six acres) of blueberries planted in mainly bluecrop and earlibluevarieties and supported by ivanhoe, darragh and berkly.

 

It is a pick-your-own (PYO) operation with some berries frozen and sold out of season.  DO NOT rely on shop sales as they will be very limited and not available all the time.

 

THE PRICE THIS YEAR IS $10 per kg, NO EFTPOS cash only

We encourage you not to come and pick if it is wet, it is a much nicer experience when the weather is fine, and of course the berries are of much better quality.

​

A total of 15 tonnes is harvested from the patch with its bushes planted in silt loam and shelter belts surrounding the orchard.
